  Do you cover my area?

We cover most towns and villages within approximately 10 miles of Wickford, Essex.

  Are your cleaning products safe, and do they smell?

Yes, our cleaning products are perfectly safe. We only use safe, non-caustic, products in your home. There will be no heavy fumes like you get with some products from the supermarket.

  What appliances do you clean?

We clean gas and electric cookers and ovens, hobs, and extractors/cooker hoods. We do not clean Agas. We use a polish on stainless steel appliances after the clean to really bring back the shine.

  Do you clean BBQs?

No,sorry, we do not clean BBQs.

  There are streaks inside my oven door. Will you be able to clean them?

Most probably, yes. Whenever possible, we will dismantle the oven door and clean the inner and outer glass panes.

  Do you clean Neff 'Slide n Hide' ovens, and do you remove the door?

Yes, we clean Neff 'Slide n Hide' ovens and remove the door when it is safe to do so. There can be issues with the oven door mechanism on this type of oven, so, occasionally, it may not be safe for us to remove the door.

  What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, bank transfer, credit and debit cards, and cheques.

  How long will the cleaning take?

We are thorough and do not rush our cleaning. A single oven clean typically takes between 1.5 to 2 hours. If the hob, extractor, or grill are to be cleaned too, cleaning will take longer. Double ovens can take up to 3 hours, and range cookers can take between 4 to 6 hours. These timings are estimates. The actual time will be determined by the size, condition, and complexity of the appliances.

  Are you insured?

Yes, we are insured by business insurer Hiscox.

  Do you carry spare parts?

We carry replacement bulbs and paper extractor filters.

  Will my oven come up like new?

Your oven will look significantly better than it did before the clean. In the vast majority of cases it will look very close to new. Please beware of companies that promise to bring your oven back to new without seeing it beforehand. Our customer reviews show that you can expect a thorough oven clean and excellent service from Ovencleanse.

  How soon after the clean can I use my oven?

You can use your oven immediately.

  How often should I have my oven professionally cleaned?

This is entirely up to you. All families are different. Once or twice a year should keep your oven looking in good condition and could possibly prolong its working life.

  Are there any extra charges that need to be paid?

Any parking charges are payable by the customer.

  Are you a franchise?

No. Ovencleanse Oven Cleaning Services is an established, independent, family-run oven cleaning company and is not associated to any franchise or other company.

  How experienced will my oven cleaner be?

Den Robinson will be your oven cleaner. Den operates Ovencleanse Oven Cleaning Services as a sole trader, and has done so since establishing the business in 2012. Since that time, Den has performed over 6,000 oven cleans. Your oven will be in safe hands.

  What are your hours of business?

We are flexible with our cleaning hours and will do our best to accommodate you. Generally, we do not start a job before 08:30 and we look to finish our day by 17:30. We work occasional Saturdays, but not on Sundays or Bank Holidays. Telephone bookings and enquiries can be made Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30 - 18:30 and on Saturdays between 09:00 - 16:00.

  Do you clean commercial ovens?

No, sorry. We only clean domestic ovens.
